Adriaan Visch
Physical therapist
Sometimes it’s time for a new direction. That’s what Adriaan thought when, at 30, he decided to change course and began studying physical therapy. A bold step that turned out to suit him perfectly. In 2025, he completed his studies cum laude at the Hanzehogeschool in Groningen, with a minor in sports physiotherapy and pediatric physiotherapy. During his studies, Adriaan gained broad practical experience; for example, he did an internship in Friesland and at a soccer club in Málaga, Spain. He liked his graduation internship at Sento Medical so much that he continued working there after completing his studies.
You can visit Adriaan for a wide variety of complaints. As a general physiotherapist, he treats all kinds of physical complaints: from feet, ankles and knees to hips, back and shoulders. Whether it concerns sports injuries, overuse, rehabilitation or long-term complaints: Adriaan thinks along and carefully tailors his treatment to your situation.
Adriaan believes it is important not only to treat complaints, but also to teach patients something about their own bodies.
He has extensive knowledge of human anatomy and enjoys imparting it. By explaining how structures in the body work together and where complaints come from, he contributes to lasting improvement and helps prevent future injuries. In doing so, he always keeps an eye on the interaction between body and mind.
Health is also a central focus outside of his work. For example, he is active with trailrunning, rugby, fitness and regularly makes “self-supported thru hikes,” a lifestyle that empowers his treatments.
