What about reimbursement for your treatments?
Sento Medical Physiotherapy has contracts with all health insurance companies in the Netherlands. This often makes declaring your treatments easy.
Beforeyour first visit, we do recommend that you always check your policy conditions. See if you are insured for physical therapy and for how many treatments. This way you can avoid surprises afterwards.
Are you additionally insured? Then we claim the cost of the treatment(s) directly from your health insurance company. You don’t have to do anything yourself for this.
No supplemental insurance or maximum reached? If you do not have supplementary insurance for physical therapy, or if you have exceeded your insurance’s maximum number of reimbursed treatments, you can pay for the treatment immediately upon completion.
What is the cost for the first appointment? The first appointment lasts 50 minutes and consists of an intake, examination and initial treatment. This allows us to help you as much as possible right away. This appointment is standard billed as two treatments (intake + treatment). If you do not have supplementary physiotherapy insurance, the costs of an intake (DTF or with referral) and a regular session of physiotherapy will be added together.

Below you will find an overview of the rates that apply when your treatments are not or no longer reimbursed by your health insurance company:

Payment terms
When you receive an invoice from us for treatments provided, the following payment terms apply:
- Payment for physical therapy treatments must be made within thirty days of the billing date.
- If payment has not been made after this deadline, we will send you a reminder.
- If payment is still not made after this reminder period (14 days), we are forced to send a reminder.
- If this reminder is also not paid on time, collection measures will be taken. All resulting collection costs will then be borne by the patient.
