What is psychosomatic physical therapy?
Psychosomatic physical therapy focuses on complaints in which physical and mental factors influence each other. These include long-term, persistent or recurring pain, fatigue, respiratory symptoms or tension symptoms with no clear medical explanation.
During treatment, we focus on the connection between body and mind. Movement, breathing, relaxation and body awareness help you cope better with tension. In this way you bring body and mind, which go hand in hand, back into balance.
